Exit - Stage Right!
A heretic crosses over to 'enemy lines' - looking for allies against 'the main enemy!'
As a result of an interesting(at least to me!)exchange with Timothy Fitzpatrick, of the well-recommended
I’ve been able to take a ‘Great Leap Forward’ in refining my approach to the conjunction of the two ‘alternating currents’ in operation here: my reluctant, but somewhat necessary look in on (alleged)” current events, and the more expansive, less topical, informal series on “Great Heretics/Heresies” which was originally going to occupy the bulk of my attention on this platform. The tug between the two had vexxed me - I’ve often lost focus and momentum in the past, when faced with the need to draw back from one direction of my work, in order to focus upon another.
This time feels different; after taking that refreshing dip in the old GULF WAR DID NOT TAKE PLACE pond, soaking up the Magus’ arsenal of strange but really real talking points, and noting the conjunction of his approach with that of the first GREAT INTELLECTUAL HERETIC we looked at here - Marshall McLuhan - I realized it was time, at last, to reopen the part of the crypt where my ‘middle period’ of the decade last lies restless in uneasy slumber! There, I found evidence of things I’d completely forgotten about writing… and things valuable to this current conjunction of directions.
As a result, I’m motivated to ‘re-release’ that part of the work which went under the title MYTHS OF CAPITAL… written sometime in 2015, after I’d stopped writing about financial themes, and before I’d returned to political/geopolitical ones. Like the ‘gold-focused pieces I re-released here last week, these items read to me as in no way ‘tired,’ or outdated by events. And by this time, having been fully BLACKLISTED from every possible venue and/or audience, they are almost ‘virgin’ to readership.
That’s whats coming; but before they appear, I want to get to grips with what the exchange with Fitzpatrick means in the overall ‘big picture,’ and then draw from that, the necessary conclusions as to why - as usual - the really real element in the current ‘magic show’ being staged over the eastern european marches, is being missed/avoided/bungled by ALL!
To start, the exchange with Tim is here - I need not reprint it on this page. As per the 'what’s it all about’ line on the ‘description of this substack site’…. what I’m doing there is ‘critiquing the conceits of exceptionalism, both east and west!’ And the main reason I’m doing it, is
because, even with the best of intentions (and I certainly admire the Fitz’s intentions) the impulse for western-based writers to impose a fictional moral tone of superiority - west over east - is almost overwhelming… and most certainly invisible to said writers. But correcting that is secondary to my main goal. Way too much ‘rational’ thinking goes into fighting back against talmudic-kabbalist operated ideologies like ‘neo-communism,’ such as we have in Russia & China.
In the work performed earlier in the year on substack, I drew much attention to the ‘suprarational’ element of both the struggle against talmudic kabbalism necromancy itself, and the need to incorporate a direct understanding of the ‘irrational’ when dealing with the ‘magical enterprise’ which is talmudic ideology, and talmudic financial wizardry both! Unfortunately, folks like these dedicated “Catholics” think that understanding and UTILIZING the irrational in the struggle against talmudic necromancy is VERBOTEN OR SOMETHING…
AND THEREFORE enter the arena totally unarmed - unless you consider waving a cross or throwing ‘holy water’ to be suitably armed. It certainly is suitably ‘irrational!’
I’m looking for allies in a long and bitter struggle. I muchly fear that such potential parties are long locked in a bitter struggle AGAINST PRETTY MUCH EVERYBODY on their side… because of factional ‘purity’ and the conceits of ‘private ownership of the truth!’ That is a ‘road to ruin.’ So I’m trying to build a bridge - out of admittedly ‘flimsy materia - by pointing out that ‘the west’ is not something suitable to be in defense of… when fending off the commie ‘east!’ Our ‘western’ history is almost totally fiction, and in fact, mostly written by willing accomplices of the $power, in order to fool us into compliance with the chicanery of it’s agenda. So why believe in it? Tis poison… leave it in the box! Here’s a taste of what is LOOOOONG overdue in searching out an antidote to kabbalist deception … and the MYTH of western ‘democracy!’ From the also excellent ‘abyss of time’ site:
According to standard history, in cities like Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp, freedom and democracy were practiced from the Middle Ages on. It is said that when the nation-state became a political entity, democratic practice gradually became generalized starting from an already centuries long experience on the communal level. In my post The origin of human (relative) freedom of January 23th, 2019, I have already remarked that elsewhere this was not necessary the case, but I still maintained the democratic image of the Flemish cities. Now it is becoming clear that I need to rethink my opinion thoroughly.
Yes, I fear it is so! But pray tell… why YOU think so?
After supplying a long list of the ‘rates’ granted to the city executioners… and their 6o assistants, our man sums up his case with,
So the great majority of the people in Bruges in the 16th and 17th century were not considered as citizens. They were not even seen as households. They were just workers, each group with its work leader. Yes, some doctors served to prevent the workers for becoming too ill. But much more importance have the two executioners and their sixty helpers. The "greet deeds" of the government of Bruges were above all repressive. In our countries de facto slavery has not only continued in rural areas until the 18th century, but also in the cities.
The clock is ticking on the MYTH OF WESTERN DEMOCRACY … in fact, on the MYTH OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION as well. But don’t tell anyone. They’ll just get up in arms! Speaking of which, back to Michael Hudson, to who’s excellent work on ‘re-visioning’ the academies views of ancient debt, kingship, jubilees, and so on, factors neatly into our theme.
A constant dynamic of history has been the drive by financial elites to centralize control in their own hands and manage the economy in predatory, extractive ways. Their ostensible freedom is at the expense of the governing authority and the economy at large. As such, it is the opposite of liberty as conceived in Sumerian times. Yet instead of appreciating the success of early policies to keep the volume of agrarian and personal debt within the ability to be paid, creditors and privatizers have written history from their own vantage point. Demonizing royal authority, today’s orthodoxy depicts clean slates as an exercise in Oriental Despotism, an autocratic version of the Temple State approach popular a few generations ago. Bronze Age curbs on creditors are characterized as a despotic repression of individualism, without recognizing just how despotic creditor control of economies becomes in disabling protection of debtors.
It’s not really ‘reading tween the lines’ to say that Hudson is pointing towards the great swindle of our times in calling out the “drive by financial elites to centralize control in their own hands and manage the economy in predatory, extractive ways.” The drive itself is no longer as important as the INFORMATION WAR which has been waged for several centuries now to make that drive seem ‘legitimate,’ ‘normal’ and even ‘morally tenable!’ That we live in a world were all of that has been accepted - even celebrated - as ‘free enterprise capitalism,’ ‘the western way,’ etc., is a tribute to the effectiveness of the winners of that war.
My series about THE MYTH OF CAPITAL was an exposure of the real heroes of that war - the losers, unfortunately for all of us who follow - and the sad fact is, such an ‘exposure’ is necessary because the legacy of those same heroic figures is ALMOST TOTALLY WRITTEN OUT OF HISTORY … as written by the victors! I’m working on getting it in order for publishing on these pages, I’m waiting to see if my response to Timothy Fitzpatrick’s suggestion that I’m ‘stumbling over semantics’ …
reaches a part of him which is amenable to working out a ‘modus operandi’ with ‘allies in the struggle against the main enemy’… or whether the classic CATHOLIC MINDSET of reducing all opposing argument to a declaration of HERESY against those who are not in your fold will win out! I’ve lined up with the heretics of history on pretty much every occasion, and don’t have much to lose in being shoved back within their ranks now. But I do consider the tendency of infighting and petty dispute endemic to the ‘right’ -even the real right, as opposed to the phony right of the trimpista type…
to be a suicidal and self-defeating one. The first two paragraphs of my response well sum up my view of the folly of ‘rooting for the (fallen and noahide) west… as opposed to the obvious folly of ‘rootin for Pootin.’ The rest you can read on the link given above.
The idea of the sovereign individual, against whom the STATES eminent domain cannot be applied, against the sweat of his own labor, takes precedence in very few polities. On close examination, 'liberal democracies' are not among them. We have therefore, inherited a specious conflation of Lockean-type 'liberties' and the western nation state which is packaged and sold by the STATES 'EDUCATION' enforcement arm,
and believed by all it's victim/villeins. Ironically, it was 'the East' which had socialist/communist mythology pushed upon it, by the military enforcement arm of the $power, followed up by their commercial, banking, and law counterparts, trashing commonweal social systems which prized individual enterprise, and importing seedy characters from the marches of Europe to rule over it all.
Now back to my editing of the MYTH OF CAPITAL series… and practicing podcasts with an eye to ‘improvement!’
